What are your current advertising rates?

We have a few different packages that can fit your advertising needs:

One week                  $100 + tax

One month                $350 + tax

Three months           $950 + tax

6 months                   $1750 + tax

Annual                       $3350 + tax

Is there a minimum amount of time each ad must run?

Yes. Ads run for a minimum of one week (7 days). However, we can start an ad whenever you like.

I’d like to advertise something sporadically, but I don’t want to pay the full week price each time. Is there anything you can do for me?

There sure is! If you know that you’d like to advertise with us sporadically (a week here and there), you can choose one of our packages and use it weekly. You don’t have to use your entire package in one go. Here is a breakdown of our packages in a weekly format:

One-month package = 4 different weeks
3 month package = 12 different weeks
6 month package = 24 different weeks
Annual package = 52 different weeks

Choosing to use a package in this way can also be beneficial if you’d like to run more than one advertisement at once. Our basic packages only allow for one advertisement to run each week, but you can choose to run two or more ads at once by using your package weekly. What package is best for me?

Well, that’s a tough one. It all depends on what you’d like to advertise. If it is a one time event or one day sale, a one week package would be best (or a monthly package if you’d like to advertise well before the event starts). If you’re advertising to gain awareness for your business, your services or a number of different events that you’re hosting, a one-month or longer package is probably better suited to your needs.

What’s included in each package?

All of our advertising packages include advertising space for the time chosen. If you choose a one-month or longer package, you can change your ad every week. That means you can advertise a sale one week and then a different promotion the next! Please allow time for changes. If you want an ad to run on a specific day, give us 2-3 days in order to create the ad for you.

I’d like to advertise our charity’s big event. Is there a special price for not-for-profit groups?

Yes there is! Groups such as schools, sports organizations, churches, etc. qualify for our not-for-profit rate of $75 a week. If you’re part of one of these groups and you’d like to advertise for a longer period of time, please email us and we can discuss special pricing.

How can payments be made once advertising has begun?

Full payments must be received before advertising can begin. We currently accept payment credit card and by cheque to the following address:

If you’d like to pay by credit card, once we send your invoice via email, there will be a direct payment option on the invoice you receive. It’s that simple. You can pay your balance directly from the invoice.

DESIGN QUESTIONS

We’d like to start advertising ASAP. How do we get the process started?

The whole process takes about 2-3 business days from our initial discussion to the time your ad reaches the billboard. Once you know what package you’d like to start, you can fill out our request form HERE to get started or email us directly at sghads@eastlink.ca. After you’ve requested to purchase ad space, you must submit any logos or specific artwork you need to use via email.  Two free proofs are included in the design fee.  Any further editing will incur charges.

What if we have graphic designers on staff?

If you’re a larger company with a marketing department, you can certainly email us the ad you’d like us to place on the billboard. Not only will this process be quicker for you, it also gives you more control over the image you create.

If you choose to submit your own ad, the file you email us must be a JPEG image file that is 288 x 208 pixels in size. You should use large, bold font sizes and colours that are easy to see.

What format must our logo or submitted clipart be in?

Any images you send to us should be a high resolution image format (.jpeg, .png, or .gif). Ideally we prefer vector art (.ai, .eps, or .cdr) but understand that these files are not always available. We cannot accept scanned PDF files.
